Well, you don’t need to guzzle eggs unless you are into building muscles or plainly trying to challenge Stallone.
I like eggs. Actually, I love the sizzling sound once the egg touches the hot pan. Eggs are a rich source of protein and are the primary ingredient in cooking. It has made its way from breakfast menus to lunch as well as dinner menus (Is there anything they can’t be added to?). Also, one large egg is 87-91 calories (Ahem! Just putting it out there). It gives richness, texture, and moisture to the dishes.
There are different egg dishes all over the world. Some of the popular eggs available in the market are chicken, duck, quail, roe, and caviar and the most widely consumed type is the chicken egg.
Let’s know more about some types of egg dishes-

Hard Fried – Egg is cooked until the white is set and flipped over and cooked until both egg white and yolk is cooked firmly or yolk is still soft.
Basted – Egg is cooked without flipping and the yolk is bathed with hot melted butter and steamed lightly.
This is another popular breakfast dish and it’s combinations are limitless.
Here the method remains the same, only the ingredients change i.e the eggs are beaten in a bowl and then the toppings are added as per the requirement.

This dish is difficult to prepare as it needs to have the form of the egg intact during the cooking process. Prepare by boiling a sufficient amount of water in a pan, add a small amount of salt and vinegar as this would help to hold the white around the egg yolk. After the water is boiled create a whirlpool using a spoon and crack the egg into a dish. Cook the egg until desired and carefully remove it from the water using a deep spoon. Only one egg can be prepared at a time using this method.
