Nestle Maggi is a global brand of seasonings, instant soups, and noodles and is considered as the king of the instant noodles. For some people, Maggi has become an emotion. However, there also have been many controversies around Maggi. In May 2015, Food Safety Regulator reported that some samples of Maggi had high levels of monosodium glutamate (MSG), as well as up to 17 times the permissible limit of lead. But later that ban was lifted. And, it again regained its popularity. 

Sunfeast Yippee Noodles

Launched in the year 2003, Yippe gained the attention of people when the Maggi was banned. People were looking for alternatives to Maggi, and at that time, Yippee made its place in the heart of the people. It is now available in different flavors.

Scoopies are known for it’s short and unique noodles. If you are someone who always loves to track and need some instant food to fill your hunger, the scoopies are perfect for you. Scoopies are manufactured and market in India by Nissin India, and in 1958, they introduced the first instant chicken ramen.

Horlicks Foodles

Horlick introduced foodles as a tasty and healthy alternative for instant noodles. It marked its entry in the market in December 2009. Foodles come in two options one is regular, and the other one is four grain. The four grain is composed of ragi, corn, rice, and wheat. All these options are available in three different flavors. Top Ramen

Like the scoopies, top ramen is also manufactured and marketed by Nissin India. Nissin is a Japanese that introduced its noodles in 1958 but entered the Indian market in 1988. It is known for its unique flavors and varieties of noodles. The most famous flavors of top ramen are chicken, shrimp. 

Joymee Instant Noodles 

Joymee Instant noodles are manufactured by an Indonesian food company named Inbisco India. Currently, they are more famous in Hyderabad and are planning to expand their business all over the country. The joymee noodles come along with onion toppings to complement the noodles. They are planning to introduce new flavors in the noodles.

Wai Wai Noodles

Owned by Chowdhary Group of Nepal, Wai Wai noodles were introduced in the year 1972. Mainly famous in some of the states of India, Wai Wai noodles is still making its recognition in India. However, in the future, it can give tough competition to popular brands Like Maggi. 

Smith And Jones Instant Noodles

Mr. Noodles 

It is an instant noodle brand by a Canadian company that started in the 1970s. They are not very famous in India and is still struggling to make their reputation in the market. They are available in different flavors. 

Patanjali Atta Noodles

When Maggi got banned, our Yog guru Baba Ramdev comes with a healthy and tasty alternative of Maggi. It was introduced in the year 2015. According to Baba Ramdev, this noodle is composed of whole wheat grain. However, not many people love the taste of this noodle.
